Day 132: Learning how to edit… perspectives, photos (did this one LK shot and 5 others that I shot for a fun amateur contest…I mean why not), framing, visions, people, dilemmas, drama, and savoring every minute with those I love at the moment. Live in the moment, be mindful because before you know it, the moment is over and you will have to look back and see what you did with it. Good to see. Especially after what I witnessed some do with their moments yet again today. Weekly occurrence, I sure hope not. Cashed out and super excited for things to come. SUPER.

DAY 132: Happy Memorial Day.  Hmmm. what to say about today?  Don’t really wanna dive into the bb race experience - my morning warmup and the race itself.  Let’s just say- cramping in the warmup is never a good sign. neither is feeling “flat”.  I’ll instead go for the quotes :)
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: “The world is all gates, all opportunities, strings of tension waiting to be struck.”  Opportunity seems to knock more frequently on some people’s doors, while others struggle, wondering when they’ll get their lucky big break.  If we look closer, we see that lucky individuals share such traits (and I like to think of myself - with childlike curiosity) : they expect to find opportunity around every corner.  They can view any new situation, even a difficult one, as an opportunity.  The world is brimming with possibility. So INSTEAD of viewing my “experience” today as a bummer or a woah is me, I’m so tired-moment, I’m going to see it as an opportunity.  I’ll have my recovery week and stay on track and USE these experiences in the best possible way. :-) …you like that positivity!!? Yeah. Me too. hehe. Afterall- life is filled with ups and downs and challenges and successes- each day is its own.  Appreciate the small stuff cuz they make the big stuff that much better. NIGHT.

Day 130:
Mare… YOU MADE ZIPPY ZIPP look like hot $hit with that photo!!
This photo reminds me of my pops who grew up on a farm with tractors etc. Taken today while we were delirious somewhere between Washington and Oregon on 395 South ?!?!?
Drove 10.5 hours to Hood River today starting from Ennis, MT starting in a blowing snow storm at 8am and landed in Hood River at 6pm with exciting news in a triple threat right off the bat. Great welcoming back to town 2 weeks later. Lots of great things ahead. And now, two days to relax.
On the road we ran into an old school song from Public Enemy that had lyrics worth paying attention to for many. This is the last and most influential verse… Cheers!
Come on sing it Sing it again y’all come on Hey! He-hey!!! Aiyo, these are some serious times that we’re livin in G And a new world order is about to begin, y’knowhutI’msayin? Now the question is - are you ready, for the real revolution which is the evolution of the mind? If you seek then you shall find that we all come from the divine You dig what I’m sayin? Now if you take heed to the words of wisdom that are written on the walls of life then universally, we will stand and divided we will fall because love conquers all, you understand what I’m sayin? This is a call to all you sleepin souls Wake up and take control of your own cipher And be on the lookout for the spirit snipers tryin to steal your light, y’knowhutI’msayin? Look within-side yourself, for peace Give thanks, live life and release You dig me? You got me?

Day 128:

Sporting the most prized pair of shades in my office from the early early days of Native 2000 or so. Proathelon in full effect.

Early am run and shoot, fun deliveries, crazy busy day at the ol’ office and currently 5:58 into the 23 hour drive to Hood River…the loooong detour way ;)

Rollin’ through Rock Springs at the moment with a rock star and twizzlers to get to jackson.

DAY 128: it was a MUCH better day. my lady friend came to see me and reminded me that yesterday’s “sensitive sally” day was not just a fluke. ;) chilly morning so i gots me tea and started working until it warmed up a bit to get outside…unfortunately and fortunately for my employers- i worked straight through 3pm- because it was so flippn chilly out! #wimp - i know.  great afternoon run with non other than the ironman texas champion, marybeth ellis.  yeah woman- I’m calling you out!! hehe.  after our run up the creek path, we showered and headed on down to PIZZERIA LOCALE to meet her husband and the dibens’. GREAT night all around.  delish food + good company = a lot of laughing.  SIDE-STORY: as marybeth and i were walking down to Locale, this car pulled off to the side of the road, a woman rolled down her window (and of course, we thought she was going to ask us for directions)- she says “can I ask you something” and I say “sure- where you looking to go?” and then she says … get ready for it… “where did you get your dress?? it’s so pretty.”  HA! she pulled over to find out where i got my dress?!!  that’s CLASSIC.  mb and i just giggled all the way to Locale— she was baffled and i was shaking my head. #onlyinboulder  ANNNNNYWAY. jax- hope you made it to the hood ok. miss u woman. see u tues. enjoy this weekend!
